Memories of Scott Clark (aka Lord James/Mr. Pibb from Ultima Online) - I call him "James":

I have known James for a couple years now at least.  I first met him when I joined the EoH (Empire of Hythloth) guild and had many adventures with him.  He was very fun to be around and had a great sense of humor.  I always knew I could count on him if I needed help, and vice versa.  Eventually, we had a formal UO wedding and we were bound to each other (I still have my wedding ring, in which "Forever Yours" is inscribed).

After EoH disbanded, James and I did not play together as frequently, although we always talked when we happened to find each other on ICQ.  He always made me laugh at his comments and I trusted him the most of anyone I had met in the Lake Superior shard of Sosaria.  I was surprised to run into him on UO not too long after I had joined the Destiny guild, and I asked if he would join our guild.  He joined to my great delight and it felt like old times (even though he only went to a couple guild events).

James was very special.  He was strong, responsible, brave, funny, devoted, honest and reliable.  He was independent and liked to go off by himself, but was there in a pinch when you needed help.  Our guild didn't have time to realize what a find he was when he joined us, but rest assured I will remember and know what a true asset he was.  I will never forget him.

In Memory!

Mr Pibb was in a car wreck Oct 14th,sad to say, he was taken from his UO friends, and his real life family.  He was only 24 years old.  He was married and had a 3-year-old daughter. He was also a Destiny citizen so was his other character, Lord James. I had brought him to Destiny and recruited him to our guild. I remember Mr Pibb as a very friendly helpful and funny person. When we would go hunting together, he would rather keep me healed then himself. He would always bow to me and say, “hail my Lady Bee!”  He would tell jokes and make folks laugh. I didn’t know Mr Pibb all that well, but in the short time I did know him and hunted with him, I could see he was a very good person, just his personality said it all.

Mr Pibb,I sure will miss you and miss hunting those liches together, when I go hunt them liches I will hunt a couple for you too. You will bee missed, I will remember them fun times we had.

Bee!
