Awards Committee Meeting Report 

Monday’s awards committee meeting brought some good people together to discuss ideas about the awards system.  The following people attended, and will be listed as committee members:

Quests for awards – Everybody loves quests, everybody loves awards.  This idea has come up many times and deserves to have some thought put to it.

Second Tier awards for all guilds, besides just KFW. – At present only KFW members have the opportunity to earn badges and titles beyond the first tier.  The committee would come up with new badges, titles, and tests that better fit the needs of the other guilds.

Bard & Beast Army Titles for KFW – The two newest KFW armies still need a title structure.  The committee has enough KFW members to take on this task. 

-Virtue point for teaching a class on the virtue

-Scholar awards

-Thief awards

-New tier of community awards

-Loremistress / Loremaster test for bard types – go to Ogre Lords, come back with 10K.

-Award for participating on committees 

-Post/discuss ideas on the message board

-Come up with 5 awards by next meeting

-Green Viper must come up with 3 thief awards

Town Council Meeting Minutes – 01/07/01

 Council Attendance:  Marina (Leader, Des), Nabzif (GM, Des),  Hyzenthlay (Leader, DW), Carina (Mayor, Par), Dren Jootz (Advisor, Par), Berek Halfhand (GM, KFW), Thalkos Mystar (Leader, KFW), Kurrgan (Leader, KFW), Mendenbar (Leader, ToD) 

  • Carina introduced and welcomed all the new council members.  A vote was taken, and passed, to make Big John a leader.  Big John is a long time member of the community.  His family owns the Training Tower and have all contributed greatly to our town.  Congratulations to John.
  • Carina also called for leaders to volunteer to head the three committees.  Committees will be chaired as follows: 

Awards – Hyzenthlay

Events – Thalkos Mystar

Welcoming/Recruitment – Nabzif, with a leader to be added later 

  • Des Report – Nabzif reported that membership numbers are up.  And he’d like to have a parade through Trammel to get visibility for Destiny.
  • KFW Report – Berek reported that KFW has gotten a few new members.  James has been promoted to Lord of the Beast Army.  Virtue nominations are picking back up.  Problems with a few disgruntled town folk have been resolved.  There is officially a new Bard Army, which is lead by Lady Laura Ravenlight.  There is no general yet.
  • ToD Report – Mendenbar reported that he is heading up a project to move vendors back into their proper shops for the items they sell.  ToD would like for more DES members who run vendors to consider joining ToD.  He will be holding a meeting Wednesday with all shop owners and vendor owners concerning the reorganization.
  • S_B is still undergoing leadership changes.
  • DW is still fighting the faction wars and keeping it out of Destiny

HAPPY NEW YEAR! 

I hope everyone had a pleasant holiday season.  We had two in accidents, I believe.  Omega and Thalkos, we’re still wishing for your speedy recoveries. 

In Destiny news, the town leaders and gm’s voted in the White Wyrm Pub to have full Destiny-guild status.  Alexis, as guild mistress will have a seat on the town council.  Other GM’s please work to get allied (warred) with WWP.

 Mendenbar, Kurrgan, and Thalkos Mystar have been made town leaders.  They each set a good example in Destiny and have each shown a dedication to the town.
