So much for that one.  Drunk Sun and his other chars are back on the warrants list.

I've granted Drunk Sun amnesty.  He has said he wants the respect of the town more than his urges to npk.  He is all about warfare and thought that was the best way of getting it.  Please treat Drunk Sun as any other visitor to our town until he proves he does not deserve our respect again.  Thank you.

Library of Knowledge hires new Assistant Librarian

I am excited to announce that Sabine is the new Assistant Librarian.

Sabine is new to the Destiny community, and is still learning her way
around town. Please welcome her and help her feel at home. She has
an enthusiasm for the Library that is very refreshing and exciting.
Look forward to some nice improvements at your local Library in the
near future!

Good day,

Six lucky gentlemen won bids on delicious picnics prepared by lovely lasses Thursday night.

Despite some initial distractions to slow our start, the auction went quiet well.  Six girls prepared picnics and brought them to be auctioned.  Hyzenthlay, Crystal, Laura Ravenlight, Carina, Anna Kerensky, and Rebecca.

385,000gp was the total amount spent on these delicious picnics.  Each girl was able to take home 32,000gp for herself.  The book descriptions are on display at the Library of Knowledge if anyone wishes to take a gander at what he missed.

The lucky gentlemen and their picnic dates are:

Berek Halfhand got Laura Ravenlight’s picnic.
Darth Shadow got Hyzenthlay’s picnic.
Dean got Carina’s picnic.
BliNK got Crystal’s picnic.
Jaim Aybere got Anna Kerensky’s picnic.
WingNut got Rebecca’s picnic.

I’m sure you all will have a lovely time!

Tas is back on Warrants.  Didn't take long.

I removed Tas from the Warrants list.  He has asked for a second chance and I always give them.  If he breaks the peace again, he will not get another chance and will be put on the warrants list permanently.  Please respect this appeal and do not engage in battle against Tas without provocation.  If you see somebody attack him without provocation please inform them of his current status with the town.  Thank you.

I have updated the Warrants list since we have unfortunately had some unpleasant company the past few weeks.  Please make note of who is welcome and who is not so you are informed.  If I am missing some information about the characters let me know (guild, noto status, etc...)

On the subject of Warrants, please take Berek's advise and make sure you have the advantage when engaging the enemy.  If you feel you are not going to be able to win the battle make sure you get the backup you need first.  If you want to risk it, realize you may very well be killed and lose your items.  Many of you do not mind losing your items in order to stick up for what you believe in and that is fine too, but realize you are taking that responsiblity on yourself.

Unfortunately, connection speed, experience, character development, and other factors will sometimes put you at a disadvantage and there is nothing wrong (in my eyes) with getting help if you need it.  If you are following the rules of town you are most likely fighting for the "good" fight and it isn't about who is the better pvp'er.  If you want to find out who is better at pvp'ing then go someplace and 1 on 1 duel them.  However, while in Destiny the rules will be enforced by any means necessary.

Lastly, understand that I am in no way saying you should take counts on "blue" enemies.  In fact, I would like everyone to avoid that if at all possible.  There will be ample opportunity to make our enemies' stay unpleasant without taking a count.  Be patient, make them make the mistake, and be smart.

Mendanbar and Elsen want to get some pages together for the shops in town.  If you own a shop or manage one you might talk with them about starting up a page.  We will be linking them all here at the marketplace page for people to access them.  This would be a great way of increasing your sales and keeping your suppliers happy *smiles.*   If you are interested, there is a ToD meeting Wednesday at 8 pm EST.  Elsen will post where on the message board.
