I updated the map in the tour section.  I should have everything in there now.  If you see anything that is missing let me know.  You will have to have a public house in order to get on the Destiny map.   If I did not word the description for your establishment correctly, send me the text you would like to show up for your building.  Send it to my email please.

The responses to the latest attacks from the evil monsters lately has been exemplory.  You all should feel proud of your participation in keeping Destiny safe.  I have not seen too many stories lately about these events though.  If you see something happen in or near Destiny that others would like to know about, post them.  Spread the news, don't keep it to yourself.  I know that many of you are very good writers.  Share your talents with us all.

I have put GMP on the guild list for Destiny.   WP has shown his dedication to Destiny and promises to continue.  I will put up more information about GMP when I get it.  WP tells me that they are working on their own pages too.  Good luck GMP.

This was a great week!  I think there were activities going on almost every day.  There have been several treasure hunts, award ceremonies (complete with a Seer), dungeon crawls, and murderer hunts.  The awards committee has been working hard to bring new life to the process of receiving awards too.   If you haven't seen the new awards that have been designed I would suggest checking them out in the awards section.  Taming, Treasure Hunting, and Parrying are the latest additions.

As you have probably read on the boards, I have filled three more positions in the Destiny Leader spots.  Hyz, Wingnut, and Crater all are now Destiny Leaders.  We can all look to them for great things to come.

Some reports have come in about the monster attack on Destiny last night.  It was quite strange to see and it was followed by a strange woman's presence.  I unfortunately could not hear very well so perhaps somebody else can report on what was said.  All I heard was that it was all a "test" of some kind.

Exciting times we are in!  Much credit has to be given to all those in Destiny that spend their time to help keep the activities going.   Until then, I'll meet you at the pub *smiles*.

We have had some chaotic times here lately.  I hear from the leaders that many that call Destiny home are saying they are not heard by the Leaders and do not feel comfortable.  I hear that just having some conversations and meetings with people in town are doing lots of good.  With that, I propose that we all meet in the Mage Tower on Sunday (tomorrow) at around 8:00 pm CST.  It will be informal with no real agenda.  Just come and voice any concerns you have and we will try to answer them.  Some things may come up that we can change the way we do things.

I ask that a couple leaders be there at all times to field questions.  This will be for the citizens so we will try to keep only a few leaders there so nobody feels outnumbered or anything.  I want us to get past these feelings that it is us against you.  We are here FOR you.  I am always willing to answer questions that you have.  If you don't have my icq or see me in-game then send me an email anytime.  I answer all my mail (unless it is completely uncalled for.)  However, I do not want anymore talk of the problems we have had this last week.

I want all discussion of this weeks unfortunate events to stop!  Do not talk about other people in-game, in chats, on boards (private or otherwise) about other people involved in the situations unless it is to admit it is all behind us now.  If I receive word and proof that you are continuing to pass judgment on others involving this situation you will be publically reprimanded.  It will not matter who was at fault for the situation.  That is all done now.  From now on you will be judged by what you say now.

If you respect and care for Destiny, you will abide by this ruling.  In my eyes, if you do not abide by this ruling you neither respect or care for Destiny and will not be welcome to this community.  The situation this week happened too quickly and without any guidance from myself, so I cannot publically side one way or the other.  Both sides have a certain level of guilty to this whole thing.  I cannot accurately sentence either side nor punish justly.  I can however, take a stand now and demand that this stops now.  If you wish to go against this, so be it.  You just will not be welcome to Destiny.

With that said, let us try to move forward and make Destiny better.  I hope to see many of you at the meeting.  If you cannot make it to the meeting, there will be more.  In fact, I wouldn't mind making Sunday night a sort of town meeting night where people can meet on a casual basis and discuss all things Destiny =).  Destiny is only as strong as its inhabitants and their relationships.  Hope to see you there.

I guess I have to reiterate the policy of dealing with reds or greys in Destiny since much discussion has been happening on the boards.   Nothing has changed.  If you were told by ANYONE in Destiny that it has they are mistaken.  They may be stating their opinion, but that is it.  If their opinion offends you then I suggest ignoring them.   This is a town and there are several different groups of individuals here.  You will not find all of them appealing to you.  You may find them appealing at first and later find out they aren't.  Much like real life....stuff happens.

Destiny was founded on some principles that have not changed.  Destiny is a free democracy and I will fight to keep it that way even if it is not what the leaders want.  I have no problem standing up to founders, leaders, or respected people in town to keep the rights of the citizens of Destiny intact.  The Way shaped our rules quite a bit.  The Way has not changed and neither has our rules.

Non-enemy reds are welcome to Destiny.  They may use her just as a normal citizen may.  Their condition does present a problem for themselves, but that is all it does.  They are responsible for themselves.   Those that help in a fight become responsible for themselves after that, and so on.   Others may tell reds that they should go away when things get hot.  That is within their right.  It is within your right to disagree and ignore them too.

I often will try to tell people that it might be best to go inside and let the grey fade or let the hordes go on.  If you ignore me, I won't take it personally.  If you die, you have taken that responsiblity on yourself.   Sometimes, I do heal greys or reds when I think the situation is stacked against them or they are taken by surprise.  When I die (when) I will get ressed, pick up what is left.  Then I will go to the closest vendor and start spreading some wealth amongst the inhabitants of Destiny (hears a cheer from ToD.)

The key point here is that I leave it to all of you to make your choices your own.  You also have the right to give an opinion....even leaders have that right.  You should not take their opinions as the opinion of the whole town.  I know it may be hard not to, but as long as I am mayor, if I have not stated it or written in the "books" it isn't law.

Now as for KFW, if they wish to have strict laws within their guild about how to react to situations involving reds/greys that is within their right.  I have no authority over KFW (although I give them ideas alot.)   Also, if you disagree with one of the guilds you are in, you have every right to quit that guild.  I would hope you do not find it necessary to quit all of Destiny.   Destiny is not one guild, nor one set of people, nor one set of minds.  Put yourself in the shoes of everyone that walks the road of Destiny before making drastic decisions.  I really like the saying "When one door closes another opens."   It fits well for Destiny.

When I see somebody say I don't like this.  I like to say what WOULD you like to do?  When somebody says I am not comfortable.   I like to say WHAT would make you feel comfortable?  Destiny is what you make of it.  Use your minds, intellects, and creativeness.  Each time you do this it makes Destiny stronger and more diverse.
