Wow almost a month without a major update to news! Sorry for that everyone. There hasn't been too much to talk about that isn't covered on the message board.
I think everyone is getting back to their computers or preparing to with the autumn months coming. I see talk of events and everyone is getting sick of the lack there of. That is one thing that can make our community very strong is everyone picking up the slack and putting on minor and major events.
Eventually, we would like to get the "Gods" attention and that can only be done through events and participation in the community. Not a one of us can be everything to everyone but as a group we can come close. That is if everyone tries to become more involved from time to time. Right now I 've been busy outside the lands of Britannia and it looks like my time will be sparse for some time yet, but I will be here as much as I can =) .
I do have some good news to report. Some of you have probably noticed a few new names to KFW on the message boards. One of these names is Shalonar. Shalonar has been trying to keep the Writ going for sometime now and with his time being divided from Britannia and RL he has decided to dissolve that guild and become a Knight. I do not think the official act has happened, but if you see him around please make him feel at home. He has been a friend and ally for over a year and deserves his seat as a Knight in the KFW. He has also volunteered to be our Ambassador to the High Council. He could not attend last night's meeting due to an illness, but I am positive he will be an excellent representative for us in that forum.
The other name is Trigold. Trigold comes back to us from a long vacation from Britannia. He was in the elite guard with the Writ and was the originator of the patrol uniforms Cromwell has his guards using too *grin.* What was old is new again. Trigold was an excellent pvp'er in his Writ days and should prove to be an excellent addition to our community. He was very outgoing in his efforts for the guild and I hope he continues to do so. He currently is a citizen of Destiny, but once he learns all the new "ways" of the world, look to see him making a bid for KFW soon.
Welcome to Shalanor and Trigold and all other people that have joined us recently. For those that have joined us that I did not mention forgive me, but I do not have a past with you, hehe. We have added many people that have already made Destiny richer and I thank them for that. I have a lot of work to do to get the rosters up to date, so look for that update in the coming weeks. I also need to start creating pages for citizens and knights alike. I know many new paiges and squires have come aboard and need to be recognized. Do not dispair though. I will be getting everything up to date as time permits.
Most of my time has been spent in-game helping out or just to make a presence. I'm assuming this helps Destiny more than my updates, plus it is more fun for me =). Hope to see you all soon in Destiny.

Sorry for the long period of silence, but as you may have noticed, I communicate on the boards more often than present news. I generally update the news when something major has happened that all should know about. Lately, there hasn't been any big issues, thus no news =). Everyday life in Destiny goes well generally. We hope to have more events coming up as the summer months close to an end. Most are out enjoying themselves before the dreaded winter months arrive.
I have been working on the citizen rosters in the People section. I developed a hierarchy that may help clarify people's positions within the community. Please look over the pages and let me know what you think. I will eventually put together biography pages for each citizen much like the KFW pages. Awards can be achieved for whatever skills you may possess, but you cannot go above the first tier since those are titles within KFW. If there is not an award for your skill just let me know =). If you want your story to be told on your bio page, then email it to me (do not include attached files or I will not open it.) Keep it role-playing style and try not to use words like "lag", or "pk", etc... You can write it as a history, story, song, poem, etc... It is up to you for the format and length. You can continue your story as long as you wish too. I know there are many writers out there so do your best. Remember, if you do not write a bio you won't get a page. Thanks.
By the way, Cromwell has been found and has returned to his duties for all the citizens. I am glad to have my friend back at my side. We shall see what unfolds for Katrina's sacrifice. I do wish her well and thank her for her show of compassion. Her actions are truly virtuous. Keep watching the board for more on that story =).

The first council meeting of Destiny went well. We kept it short and to the point which I always like to see =). Here are the minutes:
We covered many topics here, but I'm sure there are more to come. Please contact your representative on the Council if you have issues you wish to be addressed. We cannot help you with a problem if you do not voice it.
After the meeting we decided it was high time to start searching for Cromwell, Lord of Knights, KFW. We all gathered at the Knight's Pub in Destiny before heading on our way. I had heard that the Jaoshim family has a cabin close to the waters near the Justice Shrine. Since we had searched all the other Jaoshim homes I concluded that it had to present some clues to Cromwell's whereabouts.
It did not take long to locate the cabin which, low and behold, had the Evil Shades of Destiny guildstone right out front! Not only this, but Jashim Laborer was sitting out front fishing as if nothing had happened.
We talked with Laborer for several minutes and Dartanian also clued us in that Cromwell and Scribus had been lovers long ago. Cromwell had left on his own to travel the world and didn't know of her pregnancy. Scribus had birthed Vito and embued him with strange evil arcane magicks. She has plotted for revenge against Cromwell all these years in silence.
This explained much and Laborer concluded by telling us he believed Scribus was at her childhood home. We knew this to be the Writ guild grounds so we hurried to that location to find her spending some time hiding from the law due to her status as a Murderer!
We surrounded her and started to question her about Cromwell. Obviously there was much anger in the voices of those there. She was very avasive as to what she desired for the return of Cromwell. I still do not think she really knows. Anger has clouded her judgement and she is quite unstable. Upon her suggestion that we come up with a suitable ransom for Cromwell I told her that I would give my own life for his return. This intrigued her.
She presented a duel to me right then and there. Of course, I had to accept. The next few minutes were a slow blur for the world seemed to almost come to a halt for this confrontation. The fight was made up of pure magery with neither of use moving a muscle from our spots. It was a test of the mind not body. The first round we both survived quiet easily, but ran low on mental strength. Both of us had to stop to replenish our reserves.
The second round proved to be the last, but not without a price to be paid by both. I did overcome Scribus but not by much. I barely escaped with my life with a little luck on my side. She was dead for the moment, but would surely resurrect to fight another day. At least we may have some mutual respect between us for the days to come.
Scribus agreed to meet with us for her demands next week sometime at Serpent's Hold at her favorite tavern. We will have to wait until then to learn more of this story. A formal announcement of the meeting will surely be made in the next few days. Watch for it.
